Spice n Flavor was established in the United States in 2000 in New York as an Indian Spice Blend company by Chef Tom Vellaringattu. For several years the company marketed over 10 different spice blends under the brand name ‘India’s Spice n Flavor’. Later the spice blend business was discontinued due to exorbitant shipping charges within the USA. Late in 2016 Chef Tom opened an Indian Restaurant ‘Spice n Flavor’ in San Jose, California and operated it for 4 years. During that time we worked with an online food delivery company www.shef.com. Chef Tom and family moved to Portland in 2021 and now planning to restart cooking for Shef.com in Portland in early 2024..
