Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 1 cup urad dal
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 4 large boiled potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 2 green chilies (optional)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 10 curry leaves (optional)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- to taste salt
Method
- Soak rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds in water for 4 hours.
- Grind soaked ingredients into a smooth batter; ferment overnight.
- Prepare masala filling: sauté mustard seeds, onions, chilies, and turmeric with boiled potatoes.
- Heat pan, spread a ladle of dosa batter and cook until crispy.
- Place filling on dosa, fold, and serve hot.
